Neither of us slept really well last night. Breakfast was our Pret yogurts. Showered and packed, we checked out and went to the tram. Took that 4 stops to Busarus and walked a few minutes to the train station. Collected our waiting tickets and went to platform 2. We sat and waited since the train does not leave until 8:50.

A very nice ride on the train. It went by the coast for a bit. We got off at Newry to transfer to buses that would take us the rest of the way to Belfast. We arrived at the train station, and then went out to take the Glider to our hotel. One of the locals chatted with us. Got off and left our luggage at The Flint.

Tried to eat at the Amelia Hall right outside the hotel but they were full. Walked a bit and found the Crown Saloon and Dining hall. The food was good. We started in the bar that had these really neat enclosed booths, but food would be served upstairs. There was a party of 12 that came upstairs for a birthday. Really nice folks. We bought a pint for the birthday boy and they took a picture of us with him.

We them walked over to the Hop on bus and off we went. It was a bit breezy upstairs so moved to the covered area. We were coming by St George's Market and Gwyn wanted to get off. We did, and it had some really neat stuff for sale. We bought some artwork and bookmarks. There was a large group of Japanese tourists since a cruise ship was docked from Japan.

Back on the bus we rode it around the rest of the route. Went by many of the things that we will see up close on our Black Cab tour later in the week. An older guy got on the bus and I gave him my seat. There was a guy on the bus who had a Patriot's ball cap on so I talked with him and his girlfriend a bit. He had family that lived in Rochester NY. He lived in London and his girlfriend was from Ireland.

We were back at the start so we got off and walked by the capital building. Gwyn wanted a sweater so we looked and found an M&S. She saw a scarf that would work. Got a snack at the Caffè Nero, then walked to the Ulster bank to get cash for our later trips. Stopped at the Pret for supper. Headed back to the hotel to check in. Ate supper, watched A British Scandal and went to bed.
