Our tour continues
We got up and ate, finished packing. When we left we dropped the keys in the box and spun the combination as asked. We walked down the hill to the bus stop and waited a few minutes. The rain last night cleared the sidewalks of most of the leaves. Got on and rode to the bus station. Then the bus to the train station was waiting, so we got on. There was a 7:48 train to Belfast, but we missed that. I was going for the 8:38 train anyways, so we are good.
It is a sunny day, so it was really nice riding on the train. We arrived in Belfast and went out to the bus stop. But it was the wrong one, so I asked someone and we needed to go to the back of the station. A bus came and it would drop us off at the Botanic Avenue. We got off and walked a few minutes to the Mailboxes Etc. Dropped our stuff off to ship home. Walked up to the Flint to drop off our bags, then headed to the Pret for lunch.
Back to the Flint to await our Derry Girls tour. Gwyn got a coffee at the Amelia while we waited. Cairon was waiting for us and the guide. David, who would be our guide, showed up, and off we went. We toured the places that they filmed Derry Girls here in Belfast. The church that they filmed the weeping Mary and the Chernobyl kids was occupied by a funeral. I bought a newspaper for Joe at Dennis's Wee shop. Two and a half hours riding around Belfast, seeing parts you would not normally see.
They dropped us off at the hotel, and we checked in. Then to the Pret to get breakfast since we would be going out early tomorrow. Over to Carroll's Gifts since Gwyn wanted a sweatshirt. Back to the Flint for a bit before our dinner at The Crown.
Laundry, Mrs Brown's Boys, and bed.
